Handover 30,000 face masks to the Ministry of Human Resources for frontliners and estate workers

The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Malaysia and The Association Belt and Road Malaysia handed over 30,000 face masks to the Ministry of Human Resources, to support the frontliners and local poor estate workers who risk their lives continue to work during the Covid-19 pandemic.


The facemask handover ceremony is in conjunction with the “Malaysia-China Berganding Bahu, Melawan Wabak COVID-19” campaign, a social welfare collaboration program between The Embassy of The People’s Republic of China in Malaysia and The Association Belt and Road Malaysia, and co-organised by the Pahang Malaysian Crime Prevention Foundation, Malaysia Dry Foodstuff Importer and Exporter Association, and Malaysia-China Culture and Arts Association.


The Ministry of Human Resources will be responsible to distribute these face masks to frontliners and less fortunate local estate workers, lend a helping hand to the disadvantaged group to fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.


Tang Tang, The China Embassy in Malaysia chief of press and public communications section, Mr. Yao Teck Chong, Deputy President of Association of Belt and Road Malaysia, and Dato’ Sri Chong Chin Fung, Organising Chairman of the campaign, among others, have made their presence in today’s face mask handover ceremony, to handover 30,000 face masks to YB Datuk Seri Saravanan s/o Murugan, the Minister of Human Resources.
